Wine Making Courses – Discover The Easy Way

Is there an easy way to make wine?

Is there a simple way of learning how to make wine in your own home? How about wine making courses that give you step-by-step instructions on how to make bottle after bottle of glorious wine any time you wanted?

I don’t know about you, but after a long, hard, mind bending day in the office, I love nothing more than coming home, kicking off my shoes, turning down the lights, and relaxing with a nice glass of cool, and calming red wine, (Just my preference. My wife prefers white!)

When guests come round for dinner, don’t you enjoy sharing a great bottle of delicious wine with your meal? Sometimes a great wine can even outshine the meal!

Wine Making CoursesOne problem I find with buying wine is that if you like to enjoy a glass on a fairly regular basis, it can become pretty expensive. Especially if you want to avoid the cheap, bargain basement types of wines that leave a foul taste in the mouth!

You may not realize but it is actually possible to make your own wine at home. You may be under the impression (like I was) that in order to create stunning wines on your doorstep you would need some kind of special equipment that would take up space, as well as costing a fortune for wine making courses.

In fact that could not be further from the truth. I started looking around for an easy way to make wine, or at least some decent wine making courses that I could join and learn how to produce wines at home properly.

What I found was that there was not much useful or in depth information available for wannabe wine makers, or certainly none that could be understood by someone that did not have a degree in chemistry.

However, more by luck than judgment I stumbled across the brilliant Mike Carraway and his brilliant wine making course. He shows you how to make wine easily, cheaply, and quickly.

As well as a whole host of other bonuses Mike shows you how to obtain perfect wine making fruit for next to nothing, and hands you a ton of gorgeous wine-making recipes.

There is way too much that comes with the course to list it all here so I suggest you go take a look before you consider any other wine making courses.

What I can tell you is that once you start making your own wine at home you will not look back. There are so many benefits to it that make taking  a wine making course worthwhile.

• Much cheaper than buying your own wine from the stores

• Be in control of what goes into your wine

• No artificial rubbish or industrial machinery involved in the process

• Homemade wine is fresher, and tastier

• Amazing sense of achievement

• A great hobby, or even moneymaker if you start selling your wines!

There really is no greater feeling than having a room full of guests, and watching their delighted faces when they taste a perfect wine that you can proudly tell them you made yourself!

Once you have learned the easy way to make wine, you will never buy another bottle again!

Benefits of Red Wine and Resveratrol

If you love drinking wine, you probably already know that there are some health benefits of red wine when taken in moderation. Scientists have discovered a link between red wine, resveratrol and good health.

The benefits of drinking wine have been touted for a while and are thought, by some, to be the reason why the French can get away with eating a high fat diet while enjoying a low rate of coronary disease.

I always wondered why the French and Italians could consume wine (alcohol) on a daily basis and appeared to be healthier than most people. Maybe drinking wine should be taken seriously.

The Wine Spectator magazine reports that a French research team will publish an article that found that men who regularly drank at least two glasses of it daily were 50 percent less likely than non-drinkers to suffer a second heart attack.

It is interesting to note that the French are not the only ones that have conducted such studies. German and Italian physicians and nutritionists have also conducted similar studies and arrived at similar conclusions.

In 2003, German nutritionists concluded that moderate intake of red wine (about two glasses a day for men and one for women) was a benefit to the cardiovascular system.

In a recent analysis from Italy, resveratrol, an ingredient common to red wine, was studied. It was observed and was used to increase the life span of a short-lived breed of tropical fish by more than 50%.

Not only did fish given resveratrol in their food live longer than the control group, they stayed livelier as they got older and they displayed better memory in stimulus/response tests. I can tell you this, if drinking two glasses of it will improve my memory and who knows what else, I’m all for the benefits of red wine!

Another thing they discovered was that when the fish died and were dissected, the neurons in their brains didn’t decay as fast as those without the resveratrol in their diets. I’m not sure what benefit or significance of this finding might be, but it sounds good.

Resveratrol is an organic compound found in the skins of grapes that protects the grapes from disease. It is extracted from grapes by wine making. The wine becomes a preservative for the resveratrol and prevents its oxidation.

That is why drinking grape juice or eating raisins doesn’t have the same effect. The resveratrol has neither been extracted nor preserved.

It’s also been shown that resveratrol supplements oxidize upon exposure to air and therefore they lose their effectiveness. I don’t need another reason for taking resveratrol in wine rather than as a resveratrol supplement.

Other studies have shown that wine, especially red wine, can help prevent colds, increase the levels of good cholesterol (HDL), lower the risk of Alzheimer’s, and have anti-inflammatory properties to boot.

It can reduce the size and number of fat cells in the body and reduce the risk of prostate cancer. That is quite a list of red wine benefits from drinking just two glasses of that delicious nectar of the gods.

So enjoy your wine and know that you are contributing to your health and well being.

How to Get Absolutely FREE Fruits and Grapes to Make Wine

In this article, I will detail how you can get an endless supply of absolutely FREE fruit and grapes to make your wine with.

I know it sounds too good to be true – it’s not.

Years ago, when I first started making my own wine, the biggest cost that I faced was buying all the fruits, grapes and juices.

Believe me, over a year, it can run into several hundreds of dollars.

I tried buying blackberries, grapes, strawberries.  Expensive!  Especially out of season.

Then I tried juices – the fresh kind you can buy at the grocery store – also very expensive.  (be sure they have NO preservatives)

There’s a problem with store bought fruits and grapes.

The fact is that the fruits and grapes that your grocery store sells ARE NOT RIPE. They are harvested very UN-RIPE so that they will not spoil while being shipped to the store.

That means that there is a very low sugar content.

So – here’s the secret…

Go to your Produce Manager at a local grocery store (or 2 stores or 3) and ask him/her what they do with the “over-ripe” (to us – in the winemaking business, that means just right) fruit and grapes.

They will tell you that they simply throw them away.

Here’s the inside secret – What they throw away is RIPE fruit. Fruit that has the necessary sugar levels to make good quality wine. That’s what WE WANT to make wine with!

Explain to them that you make wine as a hobby and that, instead of them throwing them it away, would he or she just give you a call and you will come and get it?

I have never had a produce manager tell me no.

Using this neat technique, you can just drive up to a grocery store and pick up 20 or even 30 gallons of FREE fruit.

As a nice bribe, ask them if they would like a bottle from your next batch!

Let me know what your grocer says.
